Job Title: Mold Maker – Hiler Industries

Operate single or dual shell mold machines, making and assembling appropriate, good quality shell molds with applicable cores.
Safety: Follow all safety procedures. Employees, whenever in the manufacturing area, must wear safety glasses or goggles and steel toed shoes. Mold makers must also wear Hot Mill, Jersey (or similar) gloves while making molds.
Physical Requirements: Employees must be able to assemble, load, and properly stack molds up to 80 pounds into baskets or racks. This requires the stamina of bending and lifting while standing for at least a 10 hour shift.
Equipment Used/Operated: Shell Mold Machines and Core Machines
Cognitive Ability: Employees must be able to functionally comprehend safety instructions, quality standards, work instructions, and instructions relating to general conduct, whether such information is communicated through written or verbal means. Employees must gain knowledge of the machine operation, the display unit, and the controls. They must understand malfunctions and notify proper authorities. Employees must be able to keep proper count of production numbers and scrap quantities.
